Rooted STUDENT MINISTRY

A ministry for teenagers in grades 6-12

"Let no one despise you for your youth, but set the believers an example in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith, in purity."

1 Timothy 4:12

What is Rooted?

Rooted is the Student Ministry of Victory Church for students in grades 6-12. We host faith-based programs and gatherings that inspire students to explore who the God of the Bible is, and to adopt positive friends, influences and habits that will inspire them to be the very best version of themselves.

Who can attend Rooted?

Rooted is for ALL students in grades 6-12. That’s right. Students do not have to be members of Victory Church or to even call themselves a Christian in order to participate in the programs and gatherings that we host.

Is Rooted safe?

Rooted is run by a full and part-time staff member of the ministry and a crew of adult servant-leaders. All of which have been screened and background checked in order to ensure the safety of the students who attend. The Student Ministry operates under the oversight of the Victory Church Pastoral Staff, having been in ministry and worked with families for nearly 40 years.

When does Victory host student services?

On Sunday mornings, students in GRADES 6-12 are invited to join us in Victory's Student Rally Room for a grab and go breakfast from 9:30 - 9:55 a.m. At 10:00 a.m. all students are invited to join us for the song portion of our Main Auditorium  service. When the songs have concluded, Students in grades 6-8 are invited to leave their seats to join us in Victory Main Concourse where they'll be led by a volunteer to take part in a special message geared toward them for the remainder of the service.

Students in GRADES 6-12 participate in student ministry by attending our weekly gatherings which take place on Wednesdays from 6:30 – 8:30 p.m.  in our Generations Room.

Student Life Groups

All students are invited to participate in a Student Life Group - A  group of same-age, same-gender students who get together DURING our weekly Wednesday night gathering. Here, students will make connections with other students in their same season of life exploring faith in Jesus and relationships together.

Getting Involved As A Student Servant-leader

The V-team is the name of our servant leadership team at Victory. They are the people who work to make everything at Victory possible, from running  our cafe to operating media equipment in service, to singing and playing instruments on our music team, and much, much more. Students are invited to get involved at Victory by Joining the V-team. Join the V-team by completing a Participation Profile located in Victory's App or at Victory's Information Center.

How do I get in touch with someone if I have a question or concern?

Contact the Victory Church office at 419-332-1527, Mon-Thurs from 9 a.m. – 4 p.m. and Friday from 9 a.m. - 12 p.m. to speak with our Children's Pastor, Bunny Robles.
