Corona 2020

As you already know, COVID-19 (the Coronavirus), has become a worldwide concern and is in everyone's mind. We want to take a few moments to send you this special note to encourage you in your faith, and in some practical steps you can take.

Ohio Governor Mike DeWine has declared a State of Emergency for the state of Ohio, he has announced the state will close schools for the next three weeks, and has banned gatherings of more than 100 people. Although this order does not apply to religious gatherings or gatherings for the purpose of exercising First Amendment protected speech, the leadership here at Victory Church believe that in the interest of the health and safety of our community, as a preventative measure to mitigate, suppress, and delay the spread of COVID-19, we will be suspending all services, events, and gatherings here at the church, effective starting this Sunday, March 15. This suspension will be reviewed each week, and each Friday during this suspension we will put out an announcement by way of our website, app, push notification, and email, on whether we will continue with the suspension or go back to resuming normal worship services and activities. Please avail yourself to these avenues to keep yourself updated on our status. If you have not yet downloaded the free Victory Church Fremont app, we encourage you to do so.

Victory Church is still always here for you, as we will continue with normal offices hours, plus, IF we remain closed beyond this Wednesday, March 18, Pastor Bryan will be hosting Sunday morning messages through a prepared video that you can access through our app and website beginning March 22.

Victory Church is encouraging all its members and congregants to take necessary steps to prevent the community spread of this virus. The elderly and those with chronic health issues are at the highest risk if they are exposed to the virus, however, everyone should promote and exercise daily preventive actions, which include:
  • Stay home when you are sick, except for medical care.
  • Cover your coughs and sneezes with a tissue, then throw the tissue in the trash. If a tissue is not easily available, sneeze or cough into your elbow.
  • Wash your hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds, especially after going to the bathroom; before eating; and after blowing your nose, coughing, or sneezing.
  • Avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth with unwashed hands.
  • Clean frequently touched surfaces and objects daily.

These are practical steps you can take to protect yourself and others from COVID-19. Should you be informed that you have possibly contracted the virus, please know that the church and its leadership will be praying for you and believing for the total and complete healing of your body. In addition to this we would like to remind you that Divine protection is part of every believe's inheritance as a redeemed child of God. We encourage you to meditate and confess these Bible verses to activate the promises of God for divine protection for you and your household. Now is the time to stay anchored in the life-giving promises of God's Word. Covenant scriptures for your Divine protection:
